Positive Attitude changes Everything, at least thats what Nicholas Moore and his band of Positive Movement members truly believe. Every time they take to the streets here in Grand Junction.

Seems simple enough really, just go hold a sign with a catchy little phrase like, 'follow your dreams' or 'Be Positive' and everybody feels good about their day. Well, Nicholas will tell you  " It's Moore than that"...a pun intended. Talking to Nicholas, he's passionate, not only about getting the message out, in what is a pretty grim ecomonic and political time in our history, he's also about promoting volunteering and what he calls the "Social Art" movement. Basically he says the " Positive Movement is a Social Art Movement" and he and the members meet regularly on the Campus of Colorado Mesa University.

No matter what you call it, the sounds of honking horns as drivers pass the young faces holding their positive messages fill the air as traffic whizzes by, smiles eminating from behind glossy windshields.

Planting little seeds of happiness is what Nicholas says they're doing, one car at a time.

How did all this get started? it was about three years ago when Nicholas and a few friends saw one lone sign holder on the corner of 12th and North Avenue ...holding a sign that read simply  'be positive'. And one day that guy? He was gone and Nicholas decided to pick up where that guy left off. A stranger planting the seed and now the flower has grown into a movement which has bloomed across the state into Boulder, Denver and even California. But it's the Story of one lady who saw a positive sign...and that sign? It changed her life, that fuels Nicholas and reinforces what he and all the members of the Positive Movement are doing...sending postive vibes across the Grand Valley.
