Tony Nelson believes in Prayer, so much so, he parks along the side of the road in Mesa County and offers free prayer to anyone who wants it.

Why Prayer? Well, It was prayer that saved this mountain of a man 25 years ago when he was on the run from the law facing 107 years in prison. Tony found God in a jail cell and found his calling. Paying it forward. And now? Tony has partnered with the Food Bank of the Rockies to help fellow Veterans in need of a 'hand up"...not a 'hand out'. Tony realized there are all kinds of groups here in Mesa County that rely on the kindness of the Food Bank...Veterans? Were noticeably absent from that group. Not anymore. Tony has made his new mission to help those who helped give us our freedom. His small ministry is now focusing its energy on Prayer and feeding those Military personnel who might just need it. But Tony and his small 'Draw Nigh' ministries need the community's help. Tony was always a taker ...now he's an 'asker'. And he's not afraid to ask for what he thinks is the right thing.
