The Leany's like life and food. You could say food is now their life. But, that wouldn't be fair. You see, 77 year-old Arvin is about family first and this whole 'Starvin Arvin's' thing?...it just kinda happened. There is Jeff, James and Arvin and lots of other Family members. But when people think home cooking and big portions and local...they think Starvin Arvin’s...and those smiling Leanys running around the restaurants here on the western slope. Arvin dabbled in other diners before creating the signature local chain. He was also an aircraft mechanic, hair stylist ...and a military veteran. And he's been married to his lovely wife, Donetta...for 55 years and counting. How he met her, how he got the name 'Starvin Arvin...and one simple goal. Oh yeah and lots of smiles and big biscuits!
