Eric Ross loves Beer and Brewing.

Eric Ross likes beer. He always has. Not just the taste or the effect, but the idea of it, the sound of it, the color, the bubbles, the fact that it’s alive! The ‘art’ of the brew, getting it right…and failing miserably. It all started for Eric while he was a kid in Europe. Tasting his first beer in Germany and from the initial sip?...He was hooked. In college he started making his own beer in the dorm room, the sound of fermenting bubbles keeping him up at nights. His love of brewing continuing into matrimony…love and passion combining to make his concoctions in the kitchen, the living room of a now shared house…but the smells and the mess getting him banished to the garage. But like the marriage…brewing getting better with age and practice.

And now? Eric makes a living from what use to be a hobby. Making beer, good beer and lots of it at Kannah Creek Brewery here in Grand Junction. One of the most popular local breweries here on the Western Slope. Eric attributes the success to people who care about what they do…and the passion involved with making not just a good beer…but a great beer. Along with his partners success wasn’t overnight but almost 6 years in…and a riding out a recession, Kannah Creek is brewing in the ‘black’…numbers are good, one pint at a time. Passion, Beer and Success…Here is Eric Ross’ Allgood News.
